Working out is good for body and mind. However, overcoming the inner resistance can be a real struggle. Without motivation, consistency, discipline and will power you won't succeed. Music is the key to success. Music motivates, takes our minds off the strain, and a driving beat pulls us through our workout. Today we can't imagine life without music. Melodies accompany us throughout the day. And when we hear a particularly inspiring rhythm, we subconsciously move synchronized to the beat whether we want it or not. We do many things in life "in sync" or "on beat". In short, let musical energy motivate your training.

Many runners have popular hit music playing in the background to motivate them. But most are not running on beat. The reason is simple: their favorite songs are only available in one tempo and that is mostly too slow. Running demands a higher pace, and for this there are only a limited offer of suitable songs. Thus, many athletes choose not to run on beat or not to run with music at all. However, they are giving away a big potential: running on beat optimizes your movements and breathing, you perceive less effort, hereby improving your performance. It is tedious to dance without music, and almost impossible to dance off beat.
