Why Should I Run Intervals?

The goal of running intervals is to improve your MAS (Maximum Aerobic Speed), so you can feel more comfortable in faster running paces. In order to do interval training you should be a regular runner with a good fitness level.

Increasing your MAS will enable you to move to the first and second ventilatory threshold to reach your VO2 max. This is when oxygen consumption remains at a steady state despite an increase in workload and is the key to success in prolonged exercise activities.

What Music Should I Use?

It is not easy to find music to accompany you on your interval run. We have all songs in up to 180 bpm and some songs even up to 200 bpm.

If you are running short intervals of around 30 sec. per interval, why not download our FREE SAMPLES? They are 30 sec. long and are perfect for keeping you going on short intervals.

For longer intervals you should download the full length versions of 5 mins.
