Why Follow a Traning Plan?

When you start running a good training plan can be your all important key to success. A training plan helps you not to let your goal out of sight, it helps you stay motivated and it prevents you from overpacing and overtraining. The latter can take all the fun out of running!

Our partner, Jiwok, specialists for making targetted training plans for all fitness levels and purposes have a great selection of programs to choose from.

When selecting a training plan, you should consider the following factors:

  • Run 30 min continuously
  • Run 45 min continuously

    Start by figuring out your pace in terms of beats per minute (bpm).

  • 1. Use our Beat Counter in the Music Shop to get an indication of your pace.
  • 2. Download a few of our free samples in the bpm that you think might represent your pace.
  • 3. Go running with these samples. Very soon you will know, if running to the beat of the music feels comfortable to you or not. Select songs with a higher or lower bpm, depending on your findings.
  • 4. In the music shop, download the songs in full length.

  • 1. Run for about 10-15 minutes at a pace you are comfortable with
  • 2. During that run count your steps for 1 minute
  • 3. Do this several times to get an average. The average count is the bpm of the songs, you should select.
  • 4. In the music download songs in your desired bpm.
